Arsenal fans must be sick of the sight of Bayern Munich after losing 5-1 to the Bundesliga giants for the third time in three years.

The Gunners fell to a four-goal defeat against the Bundesliga giants when they met at the Allianz Arena in the group stages back in 2015, and Bayern followed up their 5-1 first-leg win this year more humiliation on Tuesday night.

Bayern teased Arsenal supporters following the 5-1 first-leg victory by asking: "Same again next year?" - but Carlo Ancelotti's side ony had to wait a matter of weeks before deja vu struck - again.

The Bundesliga club recorded a huge 10-2 aggregate win, with Bayern's English Twitter account posting a post-match picture of Arturo Vidal with the none-too-subtle caption: "What time is it? Yep, it's ten to!"

The result capped a miserable night for Wenger, as hundreds of supporters gathered before the game to demand the Arsenal board withdraw their offer of a new contract for the manaher.

Around 300 fans had convened outside what was once the East Stand at their former ground Highbury an hour before kick-off, before marching to the Emirates.

Wenger has been offered a two-year deal but is yet to decide whether to extend his over two decade spell at Arsenal.
