Jose Mourinho expecting Eden Hazard to leave Chelsea after Europa League Final: 'It looks like it is the last match in blue'

Jose Mourinho appears to be expecting Eden Hazard to depart Chelsea this summer - but not before he has tried his utmost to secure the club another trophy.

Hazard has become one of European football's most influential players since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2012, but is odds-on to join Real Madrid over the coming months and become the centrepiece of an expensive player overhaul at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Belgian international reiterated his desire to make such a switch during a meeting with the Chelsea hierarchy in April, while Standard Sport reported on Friday that Los Blancos will step up their bid to sign Hazard after next week's Europa League Final in Baku and were now prepared to pay a higher fee.

Mourinho managed Hazard for more than two years during his second stint in charge of the Blues, with the pair winning the Premier League title together in 2014-15.

Speaking to Sky Sports about the final against Arsenal and Hazard's future, the Portuguese said: "It looks like it is the last match in blue for Eden Hazard, a player that was crucial for Chelsea success in this last generation."

He added: "I think Eden will try to be what he is the majority of the time, a fantastic player on the pitch and to win and go, possibly, I don't want to say more than possibly, to Real Madrid with a last trophy for Chelsea."
