Fans have been left outraged after the DJ accused of groping Taylor Swift landed a new job at a radio station.

David Mueller, former KYGO 98.5 FM DJ, was sued for putting his hand up the back of Swift’s skirt during a meet and greet in June 2013.

Mueller, who previously went by the pseudonym Jackson, will now appear on-air as Stonewall Jackson and co-host Jackson and Jonbob on Mississippi radio station 92.7 KIX.

Fans were left disgusted and took to social media to lam Delta Radio CEO Larry Fuss' decision to hire Mueller.

One said: “PLEASE SHARE THIS! Larry, the head of Delta Radio just told me that the station is giving David Mueller the 'opportunity to work' & that he deserves a second chance. He also said that Mueller was 'NEVER FOUND GUILTY of anything criminal' & that he denies assaulting Taylor Swift.”

Another wrote: “I just got off the phone with Mueller's new radio station and they said he claimed he'd take a lie detector test on Entertainment tonight just to prove his innocent. John on the phone told me 'pictures can lie' and that was the moment I snapped.”

A third said: “This is so sad, I’m so angry and upset. I can’t believe this. This man supports sexual assault.”

Mueller was fired and attempted to sue Swift for £2 million in damages.

However, the Look What You Made Me Do singer counter-sued for sexual assault.

The DJ’s new boss, Delta Radio CEO Larry Fuss, defended his decision to hire him.

In an interview with the Daily News he said: "I sat down with him face-to-face in Minneapolis before I offered him the job and talked to him about it.

"He's either the world's best liar, or he's telling the truth. I tend to believe his version of the story and most people who have talked to him face-to-face do believe his version of the story."
