George and Amal Clooney and David and Victoria Beckham were among the biggest celebrity guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.

Londoner Idris Elba was joined by fellow actor Tom Hardy at Windsor Castle on Saturday, while Oprah Winfrey and the cast of Suits jetted in from the US.

Musicians Sir Elton John and James Blunt were also in attendance, as was chat show host James Corden and Prince Harry's ex-girlfriends Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas.

US TV show host Winfrey, thought to be a friend of Ms Markle's, was one of the first guests to arrive at the castle.

'You're Beautiful' crooner and former Army officer James Blunt was also spotted on the red carpet in Windsor.

Tennis pro Serena Williams confirmed her attendance in an early morning Instagram post, saying: “I’ve known her (Meghan) for so many years and I’m so happy for her."

Royal relatives on hand include Charles Spencer, the brother of Harry's late mother Princess Diana.

Meanwhile Emma Bunton - rumoured to be one of three Spice Girls invited - posted a snap of herself in a pink wedding hat, captioned: "Who else is ready for today???"

Well-wishers have been pictured camping out with only a roll mat and a sleeping bag as they braved chilly temperatures overnight.

It is thought that 60,000 people are expected to travel to Windsor by train.

Ms Markle's former Suits co-stars were pictured having dinner together at a restaurant in Berkshire on the eve of the royal wedding.

Patrick J. Adams, who plays Meghan's on-screen husband, posted a picture of cast members seated around a table at a restaurant near to Windsor, where the bride-to-be will marry Prince Harry today.

The 36-year-old Canadian actor captioned the image: "The last supper #royalwedding."

Priyanka Chopra, who was rumoured to be one of Ms Markle’s bridesmaids, will be among the guests after having bonded with the soon-to-be royal over “biryani, poutine and endless conversations”.

Chopra told Vogue India she is “excited” about the wedding – but confessed she had to Google what a fascinator was.
