Mel B may not be back with her fellow Spice Girls, but that hasn't stopped her from powering through rehearsals alone.

Scary Spice, real name Melanie Brown, has been in Los Angeles while her fellow bandmates Mel C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton kicked off rehearsals in London last week.

Brown promised fans she has been getting vocal ready and has now shared a video of herself pulling her signature Scary Spice pose as she stuck out her tongue and flashed a peace sign while posing alongside two dancers.

She captioned the post: “Smashed it, week 1 spice tour rehearsals in the bag thanks to @mylesbrownskin and @_paul_roberts boom Got it all done yipppeeee #getready #bringiton #nofliter.”

The post comes after fans feared Brown’s absence from rehearsals was a sign of tensions in the group after she claimed she slept with Horner during the group’s heyday, something Horner later branded “untrue” and “disappointing”.

Baby Spice later assured fans that Brown has been practising the routines over FaceTime with after pre-arranged commitments forced her to miss the first week of rehearsals.

Speaking on This Morning last week, Bunton said: “Me, Geri and Mel C [were at day one of rehearsals]. And Mel B was rehearsing in LA, she’s still got commitments and her children so she's rehearsing there. We’re FaceTiming, she’s learning the same things.”

She also confirmed to fans that there is no bad blood between Horner and Brown and that things have been on the up.

“Being a girl band, something connects us so deeply, there’s little things that family’s do as soon as we are back together, and it’s like kids at school,” she said.

“Our children come to the rehearsals, they hang out, we haven’t got time to be anything but [peaceful].”

The group will headline three shows at Wembley Stadium in June after kicking off the tour in Dublin on May 24.
