Kendall Jenner has come under fire for starring alongside Chris Brown in Lil Dicky’s new music video.

Fans were furious with her decision to work with the US rapper who was arrested and sentenced to community service after he attacked his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

He was also arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in 2016 after a female singer alleged he pulled a gun on her at his home. He was later released from jail on $250,000 (£179,000) bail.

The 22-year-old model faced a backlash after sharing a link to the Freaky Friday video on Twitter with the applauding emoji.

One Twitter user posted a broken heart emoji alongside the words: “Please tell me you’re not supporting chris brown ):.”

Another wrote: “Girl please don’t support an abuser.”

Others referenced the controversial Pepsi advert she starred in last year which was accused of undermining and appropriating the Black Lives Matter movement in a bid to sell drinks with one tweeting: “Also Kendall Jenner was like oh no i never woulda done the pepsi ad had i known!!! and now she’s staring in a Chris Brown music video lmao.”

Her cameo was also branded “cringe” by some who claimed she ruined the video with her “rapping”.

The new video sees Dicky - real name David Andrew Burd - switch bodies with Brown and other celebrities including Jenner.

Showing off her rapping skills, she sings: “I’m Kendall Jenner. I got a vagina. I’m going to explore that right now.

“Holy s*** I got a vagina. I’m gonna learn. I’m going to understand the inner-workings of a woman.”

The video came hours after Jenner opened up about her sexuality saying she doesn't have a “bisexual or gay bone” in her body.

Speaking to Vogue she said: “I’m all down for experience — not against it whatsoever — but I’ve never been there before.

“I know I have kind of a... male energy? But I don’t want to say that wrong, because I’m not transgender or anything. But I have a tough energy.

“I’m not gay. I have literally nothing to hide. I would never hide something like that.”
