Kanye West is keeping fans guessing as he gears up to officially release his eagerly-awaited eighth studio album after previewing it at an exclusive listening party

With just hours to go until Ye is made available to fans across the globe, here is everything you need to know.

Who has heard the album so far?

The American rapper teased fans with snaps from his official listening party on Thursday evening in Wyoming. A select number of VIPs including Jonah Hill and Chris Rock were invited for the first listen alongside a campfire setting.

Comedian Chris Rock was given the task of introducing West at the event. He said: “Welcome to the world premiere of the latest opus from the one and only Kanye West entitled Ye.

“Remember this rap music, hip-hop music, is the first art form created by free black men.

“And no black man has taken more advantage of his freedom than Kanye West. Listen without prejudice.”

What do we know so far?

The album has seven tracks, including special features from Kid Cudi, Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki Minaj.

It also addresses all of West’s recent personal issues including mental health, drug addiction, Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal and wife Kim Kardashian’s reaction to his “slavery is a choice” comments.

Rapping about Kardashian’s reaction he said: “Wife calling screaming saying we’re about to lose it all I had to calm her down ‘cos she couldn’t breathe.

“I told her she could leave me now but she wouldn’t leave. This is what they mean for better or for worse huh?”

Opening up about Thompson cheating on sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian, he rapped: “All these thots on Christian Mingle.

“That’s what almost got Tristan single.”

How can I listen?

Radio app Stationhead confirmed West’s new album would be played on the app. However, they also confirmed the new album would be released on other streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
