Jennifer Aniston has denied reports she is on the brink of splitting from her husband Justin Theroux.

US publication InTouch claimed that Theroux has allegedly been in contact with his ex-girlfriend of 14 years, Heidi Bevins.

The publication claimed Aniston and Theroux had an "explosive fight" over Bevins and are no longer living together.

But a representative for the Friends actress told Standard Online that the claim is a “complete fabrication”.

The report comes days after it was announced that Aniston’s ex husband Brad Pitt has split from Angelina Jolie after two years of marriage.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on Monday citing “irreconcilable differences”. Her lawyer confirmed the news and said the decision had been taken for “the health of the family”.

The actress has asked for physical custody of their six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Aniston was a hot topic of conversation following the announcement as fans remembered how Aniston's marriage to Pitt broke down shortly after he met Jolie on the set of their movie Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005.

Twitter was littered with Aniston memes with one user tweeting: “Just realized I will never feel as good as Jennifer Aniston must feel right now.”

Motor-mouth columnist Katie Hopkins also waded into the fall-out and said her sympathy lies with Pitt.

The LBC presenter described the thought of Jolie “weeping into her Saint Laurent power suit” as “utterly delicious”.

Writing in her Mail Online column she said: “[Jolie] stole herself a little treasure, and paranoia should have told her that one day another sneaky little pickpocket would steal him again”.
