Adele has thrown her support behind Hillary Clinton - and warned fans not to vote for Donald Trump.

The British singer, 28, had her say on the upcoming Presidential election while performing in Miami.

"Don't vote for him that's what I'm saying," she told concert goers at the American Airlines Arena. "Don't do it."

Adele said she is "100 per cent" behind Democratic candidate Clinton who was a special guest at Tuesday night's gig.

"I can't vote but I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton," she said. "I love her."

The Brit Award winning singer previously hit out at Trump after she claimed he used her music without permission.

The businessman turned presidential candidate used Rolling in the Deep and Skyfall, Adele's James Bond theme, at his political rallies earlier this year.

A spokesperson for Adele said at the time: "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning."

Adele is the latest in a long line of celebrities to endorse Clinton.

Actress Chloe Moretz has joined her at several rallies and singer Katy Perry stripped naked to encourage people to vote for Clinton.

US director Joss Whedon rallied a group of stars to tell people to vote for Clinton over Trump in a Save the Day video.

He promised fans that Mark Ruffalo will go full frontal in his next film if she wins the race to the White House.
