Celebrating its 62nd year, the Evening Standard Theatre Awards welcomed a wealth of talent through its doors last night.

And with Prince William leading the star-studded red carpet before the ceremony presented by Rob Brydon and a performance by Sir Elton John, stars from all walks of celebrity life turned out.

Leading the way for the best dressed guests was model Lily Donaldson, who stepped out in a black, floor-length gown with dropped Bardot sleeves and a dramatic thigh-high split which she paired with black Christian Louboutin pointed court shoes.

The 29-year-old added drama to the proceedings with an elegant diamond necklace draped around her neck which was highlighted thanks to her blonde hair being pulled back in a loose up-do.

Never one to be outdone, Elizabeth Hurley put on a similarly eye-catching display in a black thigh-split dress with a plunging neckline and ruffled skirt.

Other attendees who impressed in the style stakes included Dita Von Teese, Billie Piper, Amber Le Bon, Clara Paget and Kristin Scott Thomas.
