If his love for positive auras and passion for stealing your mate’s girl wasn’t cringeworthy viewing enough, Love Island fans have uncovered a throwback video of Eyal Booker channelling Meghan Trainor.

The spiritually in-tune model can be seen crooning his way through her 2014 hit All About That Bass in a bid to become a “European superstar” – his words, not ours – with his former group, EverYoung.

Eyal shuffles and clicks his way through the track while pulling the odd brooding look before taking to the mic for his moment.

The three and a half minute video of “absolute HELL” was enough to leave Love Island fans with nightmares, while others claimed it had made them sick.

One Twitter user posted: “Can hardly believe it’s real, but I have discovered Eyal singing ‘all about that bass’ and I’m screaming.”

Another tweeted: “Singer and an astronomer? What a talent.”

A third wrote: “Arrhhh man that's so cringey why was he the lead?! He was the worst singer.”

Love Island fans appeared to be equally as unimpressed by his singing as his morals following his attempts to win Megan from Dr Alex on the ITV2 reality show.

After the unlucky in love medic voiced his interest in the newcomer, Eyal made it his mission to win her heart. Poor Alex was left to recover from another bout of rejection when Megan opted to pair up with Eyal during Wednesday night's recoupling.
